oolatec Posted February 23, 2008 Share Posted February 23, 2008 So the red Mash'al just got dropped off (missed the delivery yesterday)... Initial inspection? Sweet Begeezus!!!!! Everything was included (50g sample + 50g order of Fusion and the coconut coals - which seem to have left a lot of dust in the box... no biggie), and packed great. No damage on anything. And no leaks with an initial test.The glass base? Holy crap... thick thick thick and HEAVY. Those Czechs sure do know how to blow (glass).This thing is gorgeous... oolatec Posted February 24, 2008 Author Share Posted February 24, 2008 Ok... finally gave it a more thorough inspection and took some pics... a dent on the downstem, but ever so slight, I didn't even notice it at first. No biggie. Hose port has some sharp metal on the outside that I'll just file down. Again, no biggie. Welds are great... seal is air tight... and the base. DAMN sexy... And I don't ever see water leaking out of the ice chamber. That sucker is ON there!Decided to post the pics here instead of in the review section, since I haven't actually smoked out of it yet. Tomorrow sometime, hopefully... P.S. Yes, I scrubbed out the fuzz from the heart. It's all squeaky clean now. I was just too lazy to take another set of pics.... The Mash'al is a great Hookah. I really am enoying mine. I put ice just in the chamber and cold tap water in the vase, and I think this makes for a really great smoke with Tangiers.
